King Tee Dee Couldn’t Resist the Clapback!

Namibian music entertainment just got a fresh dose of drama and no, it’s not a new collab. It’s an arrest, a shady post, and a reminder that these two still don’t like each other.

Popular artist Young T WokOngha, once the golden boy of Mshasho Records, was arrested this week for allegedly driving under the influence. But it didn’t stop there he allegedly pulled the classic “don’t touch me” move by refusing both a breathalyser test and a blood sample. No blowing, no poking just straight to the holding cell.

He appeared before Magistrate Nelao Ya France, posted N$8,000 bail, and now has to return to court on 25 September for further police investigations.

While fans were still scratching their heads, trying to figure out what happened, King Tee Dee (a.k.a. Martin Morocky) jumped on social media with this zinger:

“Don’t drink and drive please. I hope this time you won’t say you were bewitched, since you like saying that.”

Yes. He really said that. And the internet exploded.

For context: Young T once claimed King Tee Dee was bewitching him and even trying to kill him. This was after their friendship-turned-beef, when Young T left Mshasho Records to start his own label, UGU. These two gave us certified bangers like “Bye Bye” and “Love, Peace, and Happiness”, but now they mostly give each other dirty looks and internet smoke.

Ironically, King Tee Dee himself got arrested last year on 7 April 2024 for you guessed it driving under the influence in Ongwediva. He also paid N$8,000 bail and got his license suspended for four months.

So basically, same charge, same bail, same shade just a different year and a different suspect.

Whether this leads to another diss track, a courtroom reality show, or a miraculous reconciliation (we won’t hold our breath), one thing’s for sure: Namibian entertainment never sleeps.
