Canada were held to a 1–1 draw by Bosnia and Herzegovina in a tightly contested World Cup Group B clash, as both sides shared the points after an intense battle.

Bosnia and Herzegovina made the early breakthrough in the 21st minute when Jovo Lukić finished off a flowing move involving Sead Kolašinac to give his side a deserved lead. The visitors remained dangerous for the rest of the first half, with Ermedin Demirović and Lukić causing constant problems for the Canadian backline.

Canada improved after the restart, showing more attacking intent following a series of substitutions. The introduction of Jacob Shaffelburg, Liam Millar, Promise David, Jonathan David, and Tajon Buchanan injected fresh energy and width into their play.

The pressure eventually told in the 78th minute when Cyle Larin levelled the score, finishing from close range after linking up with Promise David to bring Canada back into the match.

Bosnia and Herzegovina responded with tactical changes of their own, introducing Armin Gigović, Ivan Šunjić, and Amar Memić to regain control in midfield. Canada also pushed for a winner through Stephen Eustáquio and Jonathan Osorio in the closing stages.

Despite late pressure from both sides, neither team could find a decisive goal, and the match ended in a 1–1 draw.
