Stars, Legends, and Leaders to Unite for Brave Warriors Fundraiser Showdown

In preparation for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in Botswana, a high-profile curtain raiser game has been organized to raise funds for the Brave Warriors’ campaign. The match is set for 31 August 2025 at the Independence Stadium, featuring a competitive face-off between African Stars and Chula Chula.

A notable list of prominent individuals from various sectors have been invited to participate and support the event, highlighting strong community involvement and support for Namibia’s national football team. Among those invited are business leaders, government officials, sports personalities, and cultural figures, including Sanet Steenkamp, Dino Balotti, Audrine Matte, Magret Mengo, Johanna Swartbooi, Johny Doeseb, Frank Fredericks, Job Amupanda, Elia Ngurare PM, Armas Amukwuiyu, Willie Mertens, Brent Eiseb NDTC, Busey Uirab NAC, Erold Naomab VC NUST, Alex Shimuafeni, Ben Hauwanga, Andrew Kanime, Harry Simon, Sade Gawanas, Stanley Similo and among others.

List of people invited to be participate in a certain raiser game

While Usko Nghaamwa will coach the Team A and Lukato Lukato Team B, ensuring an exciting and competitive match.

This fundraiser is crucial as it will help cover the costs associated with the Brave Warriors’ travel and preparations for their qualifiers in Botswana, where they will face Malawi and São Tomé and Príncipe.

The organizing committee encourages Namibian football fans to rally behind the Brave Warriors by attending the game and showing their support.
