Eleven Warriors FC Announces Planned Ownership Change and Club Rebranding

Eleven Warriors Football Club has officially informed the North West Stream First Division (NWSFD) of plans to transfer the club’s ownership status to a private individual following the team’s successful 2025/2026 league campaign.
According to a formal letter addressed to the stream leadership, the club intends to place the team under the ownership of Grootfontein-based businessman Asser Reinhold Iyambo as part of a broader restructuring process aimed at strengthening the club’s future within the local football community.
The correspondence further states that the club plans to change its official name from Eleven Warriors Football Club to Grootfontein Eleven Warriors Football Club.
Club management indicated that the move comes after the team secured the North West Stream First Division title this season. The proposed administrative changes are expected to follow all applicable regulations and procedures set by the Namibia Football Association (NFA).
In the letter, the club emphasized that the planned transition is intended to ensure proper registration, recognition, and compliance with football governing structures while maintaining the club’s commitment to the development of football in Grootfontein.
The club also requested the relevant football authorities to acknowledge receipt of the notification and provide guidance regarding the next administrative steps connected to the ownership and status recognition process.
