Young Western Fighters Clinch Kavango West Second Division Title, Secure First Division Playoff Spot

Young Western Fighters FC have been crowned champions of the Kavango West Second Division after a commanding 3–0 victory over Time Boys in the Round of 21, with one match still left to play in the campaign.
The Tondoro-based side’s consistent performances throughout the season have earned them an unassailable lead at the top of the table, officially confirming their place in the First Division Promotion Playoffs.
With this achievement, Young Western Fighters FC now shift their focus to the next challenge, competing for promotion to the First Division, where stronger opposition awaits.

Following the promotion of KK United FC to the Namibia Premier Football League, attention has now turned to whether the Kavango West champions can continue the momentum and help bridge the competitive gap between regions.
The big question now is whether Young Western Fighters FC can replicate success at playoff level and push for further promotion, or whether experience at higher-stakes matches will once again prove decisive.
This is not new territory for the Tondoro outfit. The club previously reached the promotion playoffs in the 2017/18 season but fell short of securing First Division qualification. That history now adds both motivation and pressure as they prepare for another decisive opportunity.
The team will now wait for the conclusion of other regional second division leagues to determine their playoff opponents. The promotion playoffs are scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 July.
