Former Real Madrid midfielder and current Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso is reportedly set to bring three trusted members of his coaching staff with him to the Santiago Bernabéu next season. According to German outlet BILD, Alonso plans to appoint assistant coach Sebastián Parrilla, fitness coach Ismael Camenforte-López, and physical assistant Alberto Encinas as part of his technical team in Madrid.

Alonso has earned international acclaim for leading Bayer Leverkusen to their first-ever Bundesliga title, completing an almost unbeaten season with only two losses. His tactical discipline and player management have been widely praised, marking him as one of Europe’s brightest young managers.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is enduring a challenging campaign. Despite the much-anticipated arrival of French superstar Kylian Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain, the club has experienced mixed results. Mbappé, now the club’s top scorer, is just two goals shy of breaking the record for most goals scored in a debut season at Real Madrid.

However, the team has been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League, has suffered three consecutive El Clásico defeats, and currently trails FC Barcelona by four points in the La Liga standings. A crucial showdown with Barcelona tomorrow could reduce the gap to just one point, potentially reigniting Real Madrid’s title hopes.

The arrival of Xabi Alonso is expected to bring a new era of tactical refinement and stability. With his deep understanding of the club’s culture and values, many within the Real Madrid community are hopeful that Alonso will restore the club’s dominance both domestically and in Europe.
