ACC Director General Paulus Noa Calls for Unity and Professionalism in 2026 Annual Address

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) launched its 2026 work year with a keynote address from Director General Paulus Noa, who emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and professionalism as the Commission implements its 2026/2027 strategic agenda.
Addressing staff, Noa encouraged reflection on past achievements while identifying areas for improvement. He stressed that teamwork is essential for the Commission’s success, stating that “No system works in isolation.” The Director General reminded employees of their obligations under the public service Code of Conduct, highlighting that the ACC’s credibility relies on integrity, impartiality, and professional behavior from all officials.
“No organization can champion good governance if it fails to uphold the same ethical standards,” Noa warned, adding that misconduct or conflicts of interest could undermine public trust.
Focusing on the Commission’s mandate, he called for thorough, timely, and confidential investigations, emphasizing the importance of proper case management. “Speedy finalization of corruption cases is critical,” he said, noting that delays could jeopardize evidence and erode public confidence.
In closing, Noa expressed appreciation for staff dedication and resilience, urging them to continue striving for excellence. “Let us make 2026 a year marked by stronger teamwork and greater achievements. Together, we can make a real difference,” he concluded.
