South Korea Beat Czech Republic 2–1 in World Cup Group A Clash

South Korea came from behind to defeat the Czech Republic 2-1 in their FIFA World Cup Group A clash, strengthening their hopes of reaching the knockout stage and moving into second place in the standings.
The Czech Republic took the lead shortly before the hour mark when Ladislav Krejčí finished from a Vladimír Coufal assist in the 59th minute.
However, the Koreans responded impressively. Hwang In-beom brought his side level in the 67th minute after being set up by Lee Kang-in, sparking South Korea’s comeback.
The winning goal arrived ten minutes from time when substitute Oh Hyeon-gyu completed the turnaround. The striker converted from close range after excellent work by Hwang In-beom, who capped off a standout performance with his second goal contribution of the match.

South Korea saw out the closing stages comfortably despite several late substitutions from both sides, securing all three points at the final whistle.
The victory moves South Korea into second place in Group A, behind leaders Mexico, who opened the tournament with a 2-0 victory over South Africa.
