Two-Month-Old Baby allegedly Found Dead While Asleep at Usakos Farm

A tragic incident has been recorded in the Usakos area, where the Namibian Police have confirmed the death of a two-month-old infant, with no indications of criminal involvement at this stage.
According to Nampol, the baby boy passed away at his family home at Satamab Pos farm on Thursday, 26 December 2025. Preliminary information contained in the official long-weekend crime report indicates that the child had been breastfed by his mother before being put down to rest.
It is alleged that after some time, the mother later checked on the infant and discovered that he was unresponsive. Emergency assistance was sought, but the baby was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police have stated that there are currently no signs suggesting foul play. The next of kin has been formally informed of the tragic loss, and the matter has been registered for further investigation as part of standard procedure.
