Multi-Vehicle Accident on Independence Avenue
This morning, a three-vehicle accident occurred on Independence Avenue in Windhoek.
The crash happened when a double-cab bakkie rear-ended another vehicle at a traffic light. The impact caused the driver to lose control, crashing into a nearby building. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported.
Authorities have decided to leave the vehicle in place until Monday due to safety concerns about the building’s structure. Emergency responders, including paramedics and police, were at the scene to manage the situation and ensure public safety.
Investigations are ongoing, and more details will be released as they become available.
