African AllStars FC Deny Sorento Bucks FC Chance to Move Into Second Place

African All Stars FC produced a surprise 3-2 victory over Sorento Bucks FC, denying the Walvis Bay side the opportunity to climb into second place in the Erongo Second Division standings.
Sorento Bucks FC, who remain third on 31 points, would have moved above Henties Bay United into second place with a win and strengthened their push for promotion. Instead, the defeat leaves them four points behind leaders Square Seven FC.
Meanwhile, the victory boosted African All Stars FC’s hopes of survival. The three points lifted them off the bottom of the table and into eleventh place with 13 points from 17 matches. With five games remaining for them, they still have a chance to avoid relegation.
However, African All Stars FC’s survival hopes will also depend on other results. Kuiseb FC have 24 points with four matches left to play, while Swakopmund FC, another side fighting to stay up, have 19 points and only two matches remaining.
