UNAM FC Likely to Face KK Palace FC Without Captain Paulus Amutenya in NFA Cup Final

UNAM FC are expected to go into the NFA Cup Final against KK Palace FC with a reduced squad, as injuries and suspensions continue to affect the team.
The final is scheduled for 27 June at 16:00 at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
UNAM FC currently have only 18 available players to rely on for the decisive match. The situation worsened after their recent clash against Okahandja United FC, where they lost key players due to suspension and injury.
Captain Paulus Amutenya will miss the final after accumulating too many yellow cards, ruling him out through suspension. Head coach Robert Nauseb also confirmed that several players are struggling with injuries, further limiting squad depth.
Midfielder Pandeni Gideon was forced off during the previous match due to injury and is expected to miss the final as well.

“We normally don’t have enough squad depth. This season we rely on about 20 players, and now we are down to 18 after one player got injured and our captain is suspended. He is also injured,” coach Nauseb told One Africa.
The Clever Boys have had a great season, finishing 7th in the league, reaching the Standard Bank Top 8 final before losing to Mighty Gunners FC, and now they are looking to play their last match of the season in the NFA Cup final.
UNAM FC now face a major test of depth and resilience as they prepare for one of the biggest fixtures of their season without several key players.
