Simataa SSS and Sangwali Combined School Crowned Champions at Sikosinyana Sports Tournament
Twenty schools from across the Zambezi Region converged at Sikosinyana Senior Secondary School in the Sibbinda Constituency over the weekend for the school’s annual inter-school sports tournament, which showcased young sporting talent and strengthened competition among schools.
Schools from the Nchichimane Circuit emerged as the standout performers, claiming top honours in both the football and netball competitions.
Simataa Senior Secondary School was crowned football champions after an impressive campaign, while Sangwali Combined School secured the netball title following a strong performance throughout the tournament.
The annual event continues to serve as an important platform for identifying and nurturing young athletes while promoting sportsmanship and unity among schools in the region.
This year’s tournament was made possible through the support of Letshego Namibia and Kuomboka Investments, whose sponsorship contributed to the successful staging of the event.
