Deputy Minister Masake Engages Ohangwena Governor on Youth and Agriculture
Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform, Hon. Ruthy Masake, paid a courtesy visit to Ohangwena Regional Governor, Hon. Kadiva Hamutumwa, as part of her engagement in the region.
The meeting focused on Masake’s recent engagement with young people in the region, as well as other matters related to the Ministry’s mandate and programmes in Ohangwena.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the Ministry and the Ohangwena Regional Administration to strengthen coordination and collaboration on initiatives aimed at supporting communities and young people, particularly in the agriculture and water sectors.
The engagement forms part of efforts to enhance cooperation between national and regional authorities in implementing programmes that respond to the needs of communities in Ohangwena.
