IIPUMBU MEETS SERBIAN PRESIDENT DURING WORKING VISIT

Namibia’s Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Hon. Lucia Iipumbu, had a brief courtesy encounter with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during her working visit to the Republic of Serbia.
The interaction took place while President Vučić was attending to his official programme, including an address to Serbian firefighters who had recently returned from Spain after being deployed to assist in fighting wildfires.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the brief encounter provided an opportunity for a cordial exchange between Iipumbu and Vučić.
Iipumbu is currently in Serbia for engagements aimed at strengthening cooperation between Namibia and Serbia in the areas of policing, security and immigration.
The visit forms part of Namibia’s efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and deepen collaboration in areas falling under the ministry’s mandate.
