KARIBIB UNVEILS NEW MARBLE AND GOLD LANDMARK
The Karibib Town Council has unveiled a new landmark in the town, adding a distinctive feature that reflects Karibib’s identity, heritage and continued development.
The landmark, made from marble and gold, was officially unveiled on Saturday, 8 August 2026.
The new structure is expected to serve as a recognisable feature for residents and visitors passing through Karibib, while highlighting the town’s unique character and heritage.
The Karibib Town Council expressed its appreciation to Namagra Pty Ltd and Mbunza Stones for their sponsorship and contribution towards the development of the landmark.
The council described the landmark as more than a sign, saying it represents Karibib’s identity, heritage and continued growth.
Residents and visitors passing through the town have also been encouraged to stop at the landmark, take photographs and share their experiences on social media.
The unveiling adds another notable feature to Karibib and is expected to contribute to the town’s visual identity and appeal to visitors.
