Juventus Beat Palermo 2–0 to End Australia Tour

Juventus closed their Australian pre-season campaign with a comfortable 2–0 victory over Palermo on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, at HBF Park in Perth.
The Italian giants controlled much of the encounter and secured the win through goals from Kenan Yildiz and Arkadiusz Milik, giving Luciano Spalletti’s side a positive finish to their summer tour.
Juventus created the better opportunities during the opening stages, with Yildiz and Randal Kolo Muani combining to threaten the Palermo defence. Francisco Conceição also came close, while Yildiz sent an effort narrowly wide as Juventus continued to apply pressure.

The breakthrough eventually arrived shortly before half-time. In the 44th minute, Zeki Celik’s effort was saved by Palermo goalkeeper Jesse Joronen, but the Juventus full-back recovered the ball and delivered it to Yildiz, who finished from close range to give his side a 1–0 lead.
Palermo, who compete in Serie B, struggled to create a clear response as Juventus continued to control possession and territory. Kolo Muani had opportunities to extend the advantage early in the second half, while Edon Zhegrova also tested the Italian side’s attacking options.
Spalletti used the second half to rotate his squad, bringing several players onto the pitch as Juventus continued their preparations for the new season.
Milik then put the result beyond doubt in the 87th minute. After winning possession in a central area, the Polish striker drove towards the penalty area before cutting onto his right foot and calmly beating Joronen to make it 2–0.
The victory brings Juventus’ Australian tour to a close. The club will now return to Italy, where they are scheduled to face their Next Gen side in an in-house friendly on 17 August before turning their attention to the start of the Serie A campaign.
