Cannabis Worth More Than N$1 Million Seized at Ariamsvlei Border Post

Namibian police have arrested a male suspect after allegedly finding more than 87 kilograms of cannabis valued at over N$1 million at the Ariamsvlei border post in the //Kharas Region.

The arrest was made during the early hours of last Saturday as police conducted operations at the border post.

The suspect is facing charges related to the possession of cannabis, while police continue with investigations into the seizure.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the suspect’s identity or provided further details on where the drugs were allegedly being transported.
