Rundu, Kavango East – Tragedy struck at the Good Friends car wash at the Juneiro complex in Kehemu on Friday when a 21-year-old man, Elias Dihako Kamberuka, lost his life after being electrocuted by an electronic car wash gun pressure machine.
According to Kavango East Regional Commander, Commissioner Andreas Haingura, the incident occurred while Kamberuka was spraying water onto a car he was washing. He collapsed after being shocked by the machine and was rushed to the Rundu Intermediate Hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead while en route to the facility.
The authorities have since informed Kamberuka’s family about the incident, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy is ongoing.
