Sindimba Named Acting Accounting Officer as Ndjebela Joins Prime Minister’s Bureau

The Office of the Prime Minister has made two senior appointments, with Petrus Sindimba taking on additional financial responsibilities while veteran media personality Toivo Ndjebela moves into a senior government position.
Secretary to Cabinet, Ambassador Emilia Mkusa, appointed Sindimba, the Executive Director of the Cabinet Secretariat, as Acting Accounting Officer for Vote 2 in the Office of the Prime Minister.
Sindimba assumed the full functions and responsibilities of the position on 1 October 2026. His appointment will remain in effect until 31 December 2026.
Meanwhile, Ndjebela has been appointed Deputy Executive Director in the Prime Minister’s Bureau, effective 1 October 2026.
The appointment follows his departure from the Namibia Sun, where he served as a prominent media personality.
The changes form part of the latest senior-level appointments within the Office of the Prime Minister.
