Namibia’s Ambassador to Russia, H.E. Monica Ndiliawike Nashandi Urges Brave Warriors Players to Use Russia Friendly as Scouting Opportunity

Namibia’s Ambassador to Russia, H.E. Monica Ndiliawike Nashandi, has urged Brave Warriors players to use their friendly match against Russia as an opportunity to attract attention from scouts and potentially secure opportunities to play football in Russia.
Speaking to the national team, Nashandi encouraged the players to represent Namibia with pride while also thinking about their individual careers and future opportunities.
“Play for your country, but also play for yourself. Play to get better opportunities,” Nashandi told the players.

“Hopefully, one or two of you will be scouted and get the opportunity to play your football here in Russia,” she said.
Nashandi also urged the Brave Warriors to approach the match with a winning mentality, discipline and determination, stressing that the international fixture could provide an important platform for players to showcase their abilities.
The match therefore presents the Brave Warriors with an opportunity not only to represent Namibia, but also for individual players to put themselves in front of potential scouts and open doors for future opportunities in Russian football.
