Scottland FC players have been rewarded with US$140,000 following their 2-0 victory over Angolan champions Petro de Luanda in the first leg of their CAF Champions League encounter at the National Sports Stadium.

The financial reward comprises US$100,000 for winning the match and an additional US$20,000 for each goal scored, bringing the total payout to US$140,000.

Scottland secured the victory through an impressive performance led by Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat, who scored one goal and provided an assist for Knowledge Musona.

The 2-0 result gives Scottland an advantage heading into the return leg, although they will still need another strong performance to progress in the continental competition.
