The Namibia Football Association (NFA) is preparing to implement sweeping changes to its player transfer and registration fee structures ahead of the 2025/26 season. This follows a resolution by the association’s executive council during its meeting on 1 August 2025.

The review, which will affect all 17 leagues under the NFA’s jurisdiction, covers transfer fees, club affiliation costs, and player registration charges. Sources close to the matter confirmed that the new structure will be announced “in the coming days,” signaling the end of the current system that has been in place for several years.

NFA acting secretary-general Cassius Moeti recently disclosed the 2024/25 affiliation and registration fees paid by clubs, underscoring the importance of revising the framework to reflect the evolving football landscape.
