
A 28-year-old man sustained life-changing injuries following an explosion at a fire extinguisher refilling company in Oshoopala, Oshakati West, on Wednesday, September 24.
According to reports, the victim was working at the facility when a pressurized cylinder unexpectedly exploded. The blast caused the complete loss of his left hand.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the injured man to Oshakati Intermediate State Hospital, where he remains in critical condition under intensive care. Family members have since been informed and are keeping vigil at the hospital.
