Police in the Omusati Region are conducting a serious investigation into allegations of repeated sexual assault against a minor, resulting in her pregnancy. The suspect is the biological father of the 15-year-old victim.

The assaults are suspected to have taken place multiple times over a period spanning 2023 to 2024 at the family’s residence in Onandjandja village, Onesi Constituency. The investigation focuses on the fact that the repeated assaults led to the minor becoming pregnant.

According to information provided to the police, the suspect allegedly send his daughter to a village in neighboring Angola, where she remained until she gave birth to a baby girl. The case was brought to the attention of authorities by the girl’s 31-year-old mother.
