A 35-year-old man, identified as Evalistu Ndelimona Tulipohamba, died in the early hours of Monday morning after collapsing while waiting for an ambulance at Farm 37, Narraville.
According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, the incident occurred around 04:00 on 7 October 2025. It is alleged that Tulipohamba, who had been feeling unwell, went to seek help from a friend.
“He reportedly told his friend that he was not feeling well. The friend then decided to accompany him to the road to wait for an ambulance, which had already been called. Unfortunately, on their way, the deceased collapsed and died before the ambulance arrived,” Shomongula said.
A paramedic who responded to the scene confirmed Tulipohamba’s death. His body was later transported to the Walvis Bay police mortuary for further examination.
Police have informed the next of kin, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is ongoing.
