Paulus Ginga Mbangu retains his seat as Rundu Rural Councillor

Paulus Ginga Mbangu has officially secured another term as the councillor for Rundu Rural constituency. The confirmation was made by Rundu Rural returning officer, Hedwig Dikuwa, who announced the final results earlier today.
Mbangu, running as an independent candidate, delivered a decisive victory with 3,057 votes, far ahead of his closest competitor, Lucas Mbangu of Swapo, who received 459 votes. Mean while , Filiph Mwatemwa of PDM only obtained 8 votes.
Following his victory, Mbangu expressed his gratitude to the community, posting on social media:
“Thank you principled residents of Rundu Rural. I am deeply grateful for the trust and confidence you place in me by re-electing me. I won’t disappoint you.”
His re-election marks a continued endorsement from the Rundu Rural community, reaffirming his popularity and influence in the constituency.
