Driver Burned Beyond Recognition in Fiery Crash Near Tsandi

A fatal crash on a rural gravel road outside Tsandi ended in tragedy on Sunday night when a vehicle burst into flames, claiming the life of its sole occupant.
According to regional police commander Ismael Basson, the incident took place roughly seven kilometres from Tsandi along the Onesi road. Preliminary findings indicate that the driver collided with a donkey, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
The out-of-control vehicle reportedly veered off the road and struck a tree before catching fire. The intensity of the blaze left the driver burned beyond recognition.
Authorities confirmed that the man was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Only the vehicle’s number plate was recovered at the scene, and investigations are ongoing.
