Condom Supplies Restored Nationwide Following New Medical Shipment
The Ministry of Health and Social Services has confirmed that condoms are once again available at public health facilities across Namibia following the arrival of a new consignment of pharmaceutical supplies.
Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Susan Ndjaleka, announced the development during a meeting with Kadiva Hamutumwa in Eenhana.
The newly received supplies are expected to address recent shortages and strengthen access to essential sexual and reproductive health commodities at health facilities across the country.
Ndjaleka is currently on a working visit to the Ohangwena Region, where she is inspecting health facilities, assessing service delivery, monitoring operations, and engaging health officials on key challenges requiring intervention from the ministry.
The visit also forms part of ongoing efforts by the ministry, in collaboration with Governor Hamutumwa, to improve healthcare services in the region.
