4-YEAR-OLD GIRL ALLEGEDLY RAPED BY MAN LIVING IN SAME HOUSEHOLD

Police in the Omusati Region are investigating a case involving the alleged rape of a four year old girl at Okafitu kaNangombe village in the Ogongo Constituency.

The case was reported on Thursday by a 40 year old resident of the village, according to the Omusati Police.

A 35 year old man, who is reportedly living with a mental disability, has been identified as the suspect. Police said he is believed to reside in the same household as the child.

The suspect has not yet been arrested, with investigations continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
