Man Loses Property Worth Over N$1 Million in Armed Hijacking

A 31-year-old man was allegedly robbed of property valued at more than N$1 million after five armed suspects hijacked him in Klein Windhoek.

According to the incident report, the suspects allegedly stole the victim’s VW Polo, iPhone 16, Apple Watch, cash and several personal documents before fleeing the scene.

The stolen vehicle was later recovered abandoned in the Lafrenz industrial area. However, police found that some of its parts had been removed.

Police have launched an investigation into the armed hijacking, and no arrests had been reported at the time of publication.
