Black Hawks FC have strengthened their squad with seven new signings as the Zambezi Giants prepare for the upcoming North East First Division campaign.

The club has added players across all areas of the squad, with the new arrivals including:

🧤 Machili Mervin — Goalkeeper, from Oryza Sativa FC

Defenders
🛡️ Samuya Kabamba — from Shooting Stars FC
🛡️ Kamwi Kabozu — from Namibia Chiefs FC

Midfielders
⚽ Amupolo Tobias — from Oshikango Chiefs FC
⚽ Percy Zungu — from Shooting Stars FC
⚽ Walinetana Sichombe — from Black Buffaloes

Forward
⚽ Chata Mantjie — Striker, from United Stars

Black Hawks finished third in the North East First Division last season and will be looking to push further this time around.

The Zambezi Giants will also have to adjust to the departure of experienced defender Mujali “Shapy”, who has retired from football.

The seven additions are expected to provide greater depth and competition within the squad as Black Hawks aim to mount a stronger challenge for promotion.

The North East First Division will also welcome Bush Bucks FC, who secured promotion after winning the NEFD Promotional Playoffs.

With both Black Hawks and Bush Bucks expected to have their eyes on promotion, the battle at the top could become one of the key storylines in the region this season.
