Orlando Pirates Edge African Stars in CAF Champions League First Leg

Orlando Pirates secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Namibian champions African Stars FC in the first leg of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round in International Stadium, Gaborone, Botswana on Saturday.
The decisive goal came in the 78th minute through Moremo, handing the South African side an important advantage ahead of the return fixture.
African Stars, who are representing Namibia in the continental competition, will now need a strong performance in the second leg to keep their hopes of progressing to the next round alive.

African Stars must overturn the one-goal deficit if they are to progress, while Orlando Pirates will look to protect their advantage and secure qualification.
