Speaking at the 2025 Women’s Conference hosted by the Law Society of Namibia under the theme “Beyond Barriers – Redefining Women’s Leadership, Wellness & Legacy in Law,” President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah underscored the importance of solidarity and merit-based advancement within the legal profession.

Making an unannounced appearance at the event, the President commended the growing representation of women in the legal field, emphasizing that their rise is the result of dedication and capability—not symbolic gestures.

She urged female legal professionals to support and uplift each other rather than viewing one another as rivals, noting that collaboration strengthens both individual and collective progress.
