89-Year-Old Accused of Raping 51-Year-Old Daughter in Onambamba Village
Police in the Omusati Region are investigating an alleged rape case involving an 89-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting his 51-year-old biological daughter, who has a mental disability.
The incident allegedly took place at Onambamba village in the Outapi Constituency between 16 and 25 October 2026.
Omusati Regional Police Commander Commissioner Ismael Basson said the suspect allegedly entered his daughter’s sleeping room and had sexual intercourse with her without her consent.
The suspect had not been arrested at the time of reporting, while police investigations into the case are ongoing.
