A new funding opportunity has been introduced to boost small businesses in Namibia, with five Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in each of the country’s 14 regions set to benefit from equipment support valued at N$10,000.
The programme is a joint effort between the Rani Group and the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB). It is designed to help enterprises strengthen day-to-day operations while laying the foundation for long-term sustainability.
Organisers say the initiative recognises the important role MSMEs play in job creation and economic growth, particularly in communities where access to resources remains limited.
To qualify, businesses must be majority Namibian-owned, registered on the NIPDB’s MSME database, and have been operational for at least one year.
Applications are open until Friday, 19 September 2025.
