
A 69-year-old man, identified as Tommi-Riva Numbala, was found dead on Wednesday morning in a suspected suicide at Farm Satamab, Pos 2, near Usakos.
Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula confirmed that the incident occurred at around 10:00, when Numbala’s employee discovered his body hanging in an open space in front of his home.
According to police information, the deceased had traveled to Windhoek on Sunday, 14 September, to visit his wife, who is currently hospitalised. He reportedly returned to the farm on Tuesday evening around 19:00. His employee, who welcomed him at the gate, later made the tragic discovery.
The body has since been transported to the Usakos State Hospital mortuary.
