Namibia Beat South Africa by Four Wickets in T20 International

Namibia recorded a famous four-wicket victory over South Africa in their T20 International match on Saturday at the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground.

South Africa batted first and scored 134 for 8 in 20 overs. Namibia replied with 138 for 6, reaching the target in the final over.

Ruben Trumpelmann led the Namibian bowling attack with 3 wickets for 28 runs, helping to restrict South Africa’s total. In the chase, Zane Green guided Namibia home with a composed finish that included a six and a boundary in the last over.

The result marks a major milestone for Namibian cricket, coming in the country’s first-ever T20 International against South Africa and at the official opening of the new FNB Namibia Cricket Ground.
