11-Year-Old Grade 5 Learner Found Dead at Oanob Bridge
An 11-year-old Grade 5 learner has been found dead in the riverbed near Oanob Bridge in Rehoboth, with police now investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
The boy reportedly did not return home after attending school on 11 September, prompting his family to report him missing the following day.
Police said his body was later discovered by girls who were herding goats in the area. The discovery was made at around 13h16 between 11 and 12 September.
According to the police, bruises were noticed on the child’s body. The exact circumstances that led to his death have not yet been established.

His next of kin have been notified, while investigations into the incident are continuing.
