16-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Trying to Stop Fight in Epako, Now in Critical Condition

A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed while trying to intervene in a fight in Epako, in the Omaheke Region, during the early hours of Saturday.
According to the police weekend crime report, the incident occurred around 02:15 when the teenager attempted to assist a friend who was involved in an altercation with a suspect. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly turned on the boy and stabbed him multiple times in the back and stomach before fleeing the scene.
The injured minor was rushed to a hospital in Windhoek, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. His condition has been described as serious.
Police have since launched an attempted murder investigation, but no arrests have been made so far. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
