21-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death in Okahandja, Police Seek Public Help

Police in Okahandja are appealing to community members to help trace those responsible for the violent death of a 21-year-old man who was stabbed and killed on Monday afternoon.
The victim, identified as Benjamin Rukero from Osona Village, was found critically injured along the dual-carriageway behind Bridge Park at around 17:40. He had sustained several stab wounds to his chest and left shoulder.
Emergency responders transported Rukero to Okahandja State Hospital, where he was admitted in a serious condition. Despite medical intervention, he later died from his injuries. His family has been informed of his passing.
No suspects have been arrested so far, and police say the motive behind the attack is still unknown. Investigators are continuing to piece together the events leading up to the stabbing.
The Namibian Police are calling on anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could assist the investigation to come forward. Members of the public can report information at any police station or provide tips anonymously.
