22-Year-Old Boyfriend Arrested in Connection with Alleged Killing of 28-Year-Old Girlfriend

Police in the Ohangwena Region are investigating a shocking case after the body of a 28-year-old woman was found in bushes at Oshikunde village yesterday.

According to Deputy Commissioner Melanie Mburu, the victim sustained severe injuries, including a slit throat and the removal of her tongue, details that have intensified the seriousness of the investigation.

Authorities have since arrested the woman’s 22-year-old boyfriend in connection with the incident. He is expected to assist police as the inquiry continues.
