27-Year-Old Woman Found Critically Injured in Suspected Stabbing and Rape Case in Gobabis

A 27-year-old woman is fighting for her life in hospital after allegedly being stabbed and possibly sexually assaulted in Canaan C location, Gobabis, on Saturday.

According to a police report released today, the woman was discovered naked and lying in a pool of blood with serious injuries. She was rushed to hospital, where medical examinations revealed that she had suffered six stab wounds and a fractured right hand.

Police are also investigating allegations that the woman may have been raped. A rape examination kit was collected to assist investigators with evidence in the ongoing case.

Authorities have not yet released further details regarding possible suspects, while investigations into the incident continue.
