31-Year-Old Man Allegedly Kills His 52-Year-Old Mother With Panga in Rundu
A 31-year-old man has been arrested following the alleged killing of his 52-year-old mother at Sauyemwa in Rundu early this morning.
The victim, a teacher, was reportedly attacked with a panga and a spade. She sustained multiple injuries to her head and hand, with three of her fingers cut off. She died at the scene.
A child was also injured during the incident.
Kavango East regional crime coordinator Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho confirmed the incident, saying the suspect was arrested and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
