72-Year-Old Man Arrested for Allegedly Raping Stepdaughter

A 72-year-old man from Sikali village in the Kavango West region has been taken into custody after being accused of raping his 16-year-old disabled stepdaughter.

According to information reported to the police, the incident allegedly occurred on Saturday, 29 November 2025, around 11:00. Authorities were alerted after the girl’s mother reportedly discovered the situation.

The suspect was detained shortly thereafter. Police say the matter is now under active investigation.
