A 32-year-old lost his life after he was stabbed by his 23-year-old girlfriend on Christmas Day

A 32-year-old man lost his life on Christmas Day in Tsintsabis following an alleged domestic dispute that turned deadly.

Police say the incident happened after a quarrel broke out between the man, identified as Maymen Nghimovali, and his 23-year-old girlfriend. During the altercation, the woman allegedly stabbed him with a knife, causing fatal injuries. Nghimovali is reported to have died at the scene.

The suspect has since been taken into police custody and is expected to appear before court on Monday, 29 December. Investigations into the matter are continuing.
