A 41-year-old Man Suspect Arrested in Regina Kondombolo’s Death

A 41-year-old man has been taken into custody following the death of 33-year-old Regina Kondombolo, whose body was discovered in Otjomuise Extension 2 earlier this week.

Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi confirmed the arrest on Tuesday, stating that the matter is being investigated as a case of murder.

Kondombolo’s body was found around 18h00 on Monday at a residence in Copenhagen Street. According to police, her boyfriend and the landlord forced entry into the home after receiving no response from inside and made the grim discovery.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect allegedly assaulted Kondombolo before strangling her. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
