Angolan Man Killed, Woman Injured in Late-Night Havana Stabbing

A 40-year-old Angolan man died after he was allegedly stabbed during a fight in Havana, Windhoek, on Friday night.

The incident reportedly occurred around 23h19 in Outapi Street, according to the police.

Police said a 42-year-old Namibian suspect was arrested following the altercation, the cause of which has not yet been established.

During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest, causing fatal injuries. The man reportedly died at the scene.

The deceased’s girlfriend was also allegedly stabbed during the incident. She sustained injuries and is currently in a stable condition.

The suspect remains in police custody while police investigations continue.
