Business woman Tricked and Robbed Wigs Worth N$233,300 in Tamariskia,Swakopmund

A 31-year-old Swakopmund businesswoman was left counting heavy losses after she was allegedly robbed of wigs valued at N$233,300 in Tamariskia on Thursday.
According to the police, two unknown went to the woman’s residence under the guise of wanting to purchase wigs, which she runs as a home-based business. Once inside the house, the suspects reportedly threatened her and made off with a large quantity of wigs.
By the time of reporting, the stolen items had not been recovered and no suspects had been arrested.
Police have cautioned members of the public against allowing unfamiliar individuals into their homes, particularly when conducting business. Salon owners and the public at large have also been urged not to buy suspected stolen hair products, but instead to report any information that could assist in tracking down the perpetrators.
Investigations into the matter are continuing.
