Car Runs Into Crowd Outside Omaruru Bar, Seven Injured

Seven people were left injured in the early hours of Sunday morning after a vehicle allegedly drove into a group gathered outside a bar in Omaruru.
The incident occurred at approximately 01:10 when a black Volkswagen Golf, bearing Omaruru registration plates, reportedly struck several individuals who were standing outside the establishment. According to police, the act is suspected to have been intentional.
Erongo police spokesperson, Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, said the incident unfolded after a fight broke out inside the bar. Although the altercation was brought under control, one of the men believed to have been involved allegedly went to his vehicle shortly afterwards. He then reportedly drove into the crowd outside the premises.
